The short answer

A business blog brings in leads when each post answers a question your customers search for, then invites them to take the next step. In Oceanic Funnels OS, create a blog under Sites → Blogs, add posts with a title, slug, category, author, SEO description and cover image, and publish, schedule or save as draft. Add the blog to your website with the Blog Post List element and link every post to a relevant service page or booking form.

What to write about

  • Questions customers ask you every week. Each one is a post.
  • Costs and prices: "How much does a kitchen remodel cost in 2026?"
  • Comparisons: "Veneers vs bonding: which is right for you?"
  • How-tos and checklists related to your service.
  • Local topics for the areas you serve.

How to set up your blog

  1. Go to Sites → Blogs and create a new blog from scratch or a template.
  2. Set the site title, slug and description, and connect your domain now or later in Blog Settings.
  3. Add a post: write it, or import from a URL or CSV file.
  4. Set the URL slug, category, author, SEO title, description and a cover image with alt text.
  5. Publish now, schedule for later or save as a draft.
  6. Add the Blog Post List element to a page on your website to show your posts.

How to structure a post for Google and AI search

  • Answer the question in the first two or three sentences.
  • Use clear H2 headings that match related questions.
  • Add a short FAQ at the end.
  • Use real examples, prices and steps from your experience.
  • Link to the relevant service page and to other posts.

Turn readers into leads

Every post should end with a clear next step: book a call, get a quote, download a checklist. A free resource in exchange for an email adds the reader to your CRM, where an automated email sequence can follow up.

How often to post

Consistency beats volume. One genuinely useful post a week, kept up for six months, builds far more search traffic than ten thin posts in one week.
